corey's birth story x

well all i can say is that it was really quick

Due date: 14th March
Born: 22nd March
Weight: 8lb 01 oz
Time: 4.24pm

Monday morning about 3am tj woke me up so off i go to sort him out, felt abit damp in my pjs went to the loo to find abit of wet down there, thought nothing much of it, went back to bed after changing.
about 3.45am i started to get strong braxton hix wasnt sure if it was gonna happen or not so i sat up till about 5.30 writing them down. They were all over the place so i thought id get sum sleep before waking sy up for work.
alarms went off to wake sy and i kept having braxtons on and off so sy decided to stay off work- good job really!
10am came and my contractions started every 5-10mins lasting 20-30 secs.
sy rang his mum to come get tj as mine was busy.
rang the hospital about 11 for them to tell me wat i already knew- hot bath parecetamol ring back in an hour!
i went for a bath took paracetamol but held out ringing till i needed to.
sy mum stayed with us till around 1pm then took tj by wich time the contractions were really intense.
i rang up the hospital about 15 mins after she left as i was on the floor!!
got to the hospital about 1.45pm and got examined to be 6cm dilated
got put on the stupid monitor then eventually moved to the delivery room about 3pm ish
still on the monitor i got given gas/air had a laughing fit as soon as i had it again god that stuffs ace!
my mum arrived about 5 to 4pm by wich time i was in full swing, the mw was going to pop my waters as i felt the urge to push, 4.01pm my waters popped ooo RELIEF!! oh and my mum got splashed lol
corey was born 24 minutes later
sy was brilliant and has taken to corey really well and tj is coming round to him too Razz
